Hiking
and walking among granite rocks

The landscapes of Gallura

Nature, granite rocks, trails that cross hills and lead down to the sea. All it takes is a walk at Parco degli Ulivi to sense the relaxing atmosphere and the vital essence of every element that lives and breathes in our park. Beginning with the olive trees and wild olive groves: the protagonists of our oasis, the more ancient ones which have become even bigger and stronger over the centuries, and the younger ones which, as they grow, will contribute to complete the circle of natural life of this corner of Gallura .

A short distance from Parco Degli Ulivi Hotel, towards Cannigione, is La Contea di Rena, Sardinia’s first adventure park built on rock. A walk or run in the park, or a meditation or yoga session and wellbeing is guaranteed.

For outdoor enthusiasts who love walking and hiking, the north of Sardinia has unspoiled paths and landscapes that lie waiting to be explored and experienced. An expert guide selected by the Felix team is available to give the right advice and accompany excursions.

One of the most captivating is located very close to Arzachena. It is the historic Monte Moro route which is characterised by evocative granite towers. On their peaks you can admire magnificent Gallurese landscapes – from the Gulf of Arzachena to the Maddalena Archipelago, Tavolara, Capo Figari and even all the way to Corsica.

THE TREE
IN THE ROCK

Among nature’s wonders at Parco degli Ulivi there is also a fascinating centuries-old holm oak which has grown through a big granite rock, splitting it in two.

and hidden corners

From Cannigione to the Costa Smeralda

Parco degli Ulivi is the ideal starting point for visiting the beaches on the north-east coast of Sardinia, from small coves surrounded by the granite rocks that are typical of Gallura, to the well-known pearls of the Costa Smeralda.
A short distance from Cannigione on the west coast of the Gulf of Arzachena, is the enchanting Tanca Manna beach which joins up with the sandy shore of Isuledda. Then you come to Ea Bianca beach, and immediately after Baja Sardinia beach, also known as Cala Battistoni.

This is where the Costa Smeralda starts, with the Pitrizza, Liscia di Vacca and Cala Granu beaches located on the Capo Ferro peninsula, across from Isola delle Bisce. Heading south, we find the famed white sands and crystal-clear waters in the heart of the Costa Smeralda. Among the best-known are Capriccioli, Poltu li Coggji (Spiaggia del Principe), Liscia Ruja, La Celvia and the Pevero beaches.

LA MADDALENA.
THE ISLANDS IN THE ISLAND

Climb aboard one of the sailing boats, yachts or motorboats that leave the Cannigione, Baja Sardinia and Palau harbours every day for a mini-cruise around the Maddalena Archipelago National Park, considered one of the most captivating places in the world.
